本人的文法，到底爛到怎麼樣的極致呢？
簡單來說，連送分題都無法掌握，選答案都會猶疑，
所謂「送分題」指的是，只要背文法通則就能拿分的題目，
例如：區分人稱代名詞的格或是反身代名詞的慣用語，
參見如下例題：
The newspaper editor, Mr.Lim has invited a distinguished architect to
write about ___ famous buildings.（挑戰新多益閱讀滿分│模擬試題1000題，Op.94，
Test 4，No.1）
（A）he
（B）him
（C）his
（D）himself
It is too heavy for Mr. Lin and Ms. Hwang to move the new office furniture

老師教我很多答題技巧，能馬上選出最佳答案，
或是不會選到完全不可能的選項，舉下列兩例題來說：

【解題】
1. 注意passenger的＂s＂，名詞字尾有s表示它是可數名詞，（D）選項直接刪除，它必
須在不可數名詞的前面。
2. 注意that ___ of the passengers is properly seated，該句動詞是單數is，（B）
選項，刪除！它得搭配複數動詞使用。
3. 剩下（A）和（C）都表示單數名詞的數量形容詞，可置於可數名詞的前面，不過句型
是 ___ of the passengers（這些乘客中的每一個），有＂of＂，答案是（C）。
最後，再舉一個自己常錯的題目類型，關於比較級與詞性的選擇：
The CEO has requested that the board of directors review the budget
proposal for the next year ___.（挑戰新多益閱讀滿分│模擬試題1000題，Op.284，
Test 10，No.127）
（A）attentive

【解題】
1. 這類題目要先判斷是用比較級或最高級，這題沒有最高級的選項，主要是考比較級與
詞性的選擇。
2. 瞭解題目要修飾或強調的單字是什麼詞性，比如說：
●形容詞修飾名詞，Ex：a really beautiful weather. 用beautiful（很好的）形容詞
修飾weather（天氣）名詞，副詞really（真的）表示強調語氣。
●Toeic特愛用現在分詞、過去分詞與不定詞修飾名詞，Ex：rising prices（上漲的物
價）、upgraded computer（升級了的電腦）、food to eat（吃的食物）
●副詞可修飾動詞、形容詞或副詞，Ex：He accurately entered all the data.（他很
準確地輸入資料）、She is very beautiful.（她非常漂亮）、He runs amazingly
fast.（他跑步快得驚人）。
回到題目，名詞子句that the board of directors review the budget proposal for
the next year ___.要強調的是the board of directors（董事會）review（審視）預算
的動作，介系詞片語for the next year（在明年）可省略不看。既然是強調動作，可修
飾動詞的就只有副詞，（D）是正確解答！
